Coach Meeting

There will be a coaches' meeting on Saturday, August 29th at Kent Coburn's house (5289 Winchester Ln) at 9am. If you have not received your team list, you should get it there. Also, uniforms for your team will be available for pickup.

Spring 2009 Season Update

We are planning on the first game for spring season 2009 to be on March 28th. We will all have byes on April 11th for Easter, and we will run the season through May 16th.

Goalkeepers Removed From U8

At the last board meeting, we voted to follow AYSO National's recommendation to remove goalkeepers from the U8 divisions starting in the 2008/2009 season. We were one of the last regions in the area to continue to play with goalkeepers. So, starting next season, U8 will play 5v5 with no keepers.

Spring 2008 Coach Clinics

U12 Coach Clinic to be offered May 9th starting at 5pm. Please contact Bruce Illum at billum@dsdmail.net or illum8@msn.com to take this course. Cost is $10. This is a required course for the Intermediate coach clinic.

Intermediate and Advanced coach clinics to be offered May 29 (6pm-9pm), May 30 (2pm-9pm) & May 31 (9am - 4pm). These courses will both be located at the LDS Church at 2400N. 250 W. in Sunset. Cost is $25. Must be a registered volunteer and U12 Coach Certified. To register, please contact Shannon Hawkins - 603-1656 or rc@ayso198.org.
